Venus Viva | Overview
What is Venus Viva Radiofrequency treatment?
When it comes to skin resurfacing, ablative lasers such as Fraxel used to be the frontrunner, but these procedures also came with high cost, discomfort and downtime that lasted several weeks.
Venus Viva skin resurfacing treatments, on the other hand, deliver the same results, just with significantly less pain and lower downtime. And unlike lasers, which only work for fair complexions, Venus Viva skin resurfacing treatments are safe for all skin tones.
Reaching deeper into the skin with every treatment, Venus Viva is far more effective on than superficial treatments like chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. It works on a higher level than skin needling, as there is greater stimulation of collagen with every treatment because of the RF energy.
How does Venus Viva work?
Venus Viva skin resurfacing treatments work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. This creates tiny micro-dermal wounds, which the body naturally heals on its own. This process repairs signs of skin damage visible on the surface of the skin.
Since the pinpoints are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers, while still producing incredibly visible results.
It is our treatment of choice for skin tightening, rejuvenation, scar reduction and pore size reduction. The reason why Venus Viva treatments are so effective at combating even the toughest of skin irregularities compared with traditional skin needling or any other similar devises is its nano- fractional radio frequency.
What happens in a Venus Viva RF session?
Step 1. Your treatment will begin with a skin assessment and photos so that we can see the results of your skin journey. Next we will perform a double cleanse, and apply a pharmaceutical numbing cream to the face and neck.
Step 2. Your therapist will then remove the numbing cream and will undertake the treatment, a section at a time. Yje Venus Viva RF is undertaken using a stamping motion on the skin.
Step 3. We will finalise the Venus Viva session with a refreshing peptide mask and an LED session to energise the skin and improve the results of treatment.

The ideal candidate is anyone who shows signs of skin damage, including deep wrinkles, scars, visible pores, stretch marks, and/or anything else that affects the skin’s texture.
Most patients receive 3-4 treatments per area. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated.
Treatments are usually 4 weeks apart to maximise results.
